I am researching a George Washington Vest b about 1864, I am assuming in
Stokes County, GA. His family is never listed with a father. Does this
look familiar to anyone?

Robert is living a few houses down in this household:

George W. Vest married Tempy Wall Stone, widow of John Julius Stone on
December 24, 1885 in Stokes County
I believe I have found William in Forsyth Count married to Louis Anna Boose
daughter to Lutitia Boose.
Robert is still in Stokes County, unmarried living with a Fowler Family as a
hired hand.
No other record can be found as to who is the father/husband to this family
or what happened to the mother and daughter listed above.
Any leads on the this Stoke County Vest Family would be helpful.
