From Stanly County, NC marriages Books I and II- 1850-1904 published by the Stanly Co. Genealogical Society, 1987:
E. A. HUNEYCUTT son of Jos. and Nancy Huneycutt to Julia A. BARINGER daughter of Mathias and Elizabeth Baringer married 27 Dec 1870 by S. Ritchey, JP Book II page 16

James A. Lowder 18 son of D. H. and Elziabeth LOWDER to M. J. Huneycutt age 15 daughter of E. A. and J. A. Huneycutt married 12 Mar 1893 by D. A. G. Hatley, JP Book II page 98.

All marriages beginning in 1867 in North Carolina list the names of the parents of each person, also tells if the parents are living. This is noted by a (d) after each name, if deceased.

Mathias and Elizabeth Barringer are listed in Almond District of the 1850 Stanly Co. NC census and it states that they were married within the year. He was age 21 and she age 23. Didn't find them in Stanly Co. in 1860.
