Mission Cemetery??

While conducting research I have found North Carolina death certificates for two of my family members. Both certificates state that they were buried in “Mission Cemetery” in Stanly County. Both family members lived in Mount Pleasant in the Furr Township. I have conducted searches by all means possible and simply can not locate this cemetery. Is it possible that it was renamed to something else? Both of the burials occurred before 1920.
