Yes, I have some other documents by Koontz, and she is wonderful to find these things. I visited Stanly Co. NC Library in about 2003, and copied all files I could on our ROGERS in their family file folder.

JAMES ROGERS, Sr. b. bet. 1700-1720
JAMES ROGERS, Jr. b. abt. 1746 had sons JOHN ROGERS and WILLIAM ROGERS as well as FREDERICK and ZACHARIAH ROGERS and 3 unknown dau's.
JOHN ROGERS b. 1775 ( s.o JAMES JR. ) md. SARAH BILES and their daughters md. HATLEYS of CHATHAM Co. NC as you know. Their son JOHN M. ROGERS line is listed below and it is his line buried in that cemetery you listed.

JOHN M. ROGERS md. ANNA MACKINS and they had sons listed below :

2. DAVID M. ROGERS b. 1836 NC
3. JOHN W. ROGERS b. 1838 NC
4. DANIEL D. ROGERS b. July 03, 1841 NC

I am really interested in the name of an AARON N. ROGERS who married NANCY UPCHURCH as her father HOWELL UPCHURCH named his children same names as my ROGERS. AARON had been listed as son of our WILLIAM ROGERS but we cannot prove it and have no files with his name on it. William (L. ) ROGERS b. 1770 NC md. NANCY and left for CARROLL CO. TN in 1823 afer selling his Long Creek land to MATHIAS BARRINGER, and his son BASIL ROGERS was a witness to that deed as was E. McLESTER ( EDMOND McLESTER s/o DANIEL McLESTER ) of Montgomery Co. NC.

AARON ROGERS and REUBEN ROGERS are names passed on in the line of JOSEPH ROGERS and wife MARY FARGASON and Joseph is the son of WILLIAM ROGERS and ELIZABETH CARTWRIGHT who are in that JOHN ROGERS b. 1617 ENGLAND line that came in at JAMESTOWN VA in 1635.

If anyone finds more on AARON N. RODGERS/ ROGERS who md. NANCY UPCHURCH let me know. We have AARON ROGERS but they are named for AARON GREEN of Montgomery Co. NC who is in our line as well.
