The Stephen Crump I referred to was Stephen, Crump, JR. He died about 1857/58 timeframe, because his widow Elizabeth Jane Davis Crump remarried in late 1858. It appears that the line you reference is his father, Stephen SR. Those children listed in his family are his natural children. If you look a bit further down the census Eliza Jane and Stephen and Charlotte AND his uncle James Crump, reside together. Does this help in better describing Stephen JR's family. It is his daughter, Charlotte, that I am researching. Shirley Notify Administrator about this message?
