Lynda,
I have a book, "Abandoned Cemeteries of Stanly Co." published in 1981 by Stanly Co. Genealogical Society. In this book is listed Dr. Francis Joseph Kron Family Cemetery. Directions: Located in Morrow Mountain State Park, l block north of the restored Kron house - in woods.

This was copied by David Kirk Shaver and Juanita Morris. They made a note at the end of the list:

"George Kirk born 12 Jan 1794 died 17 Feb 1845 is buried here in an unmarked grave. His wife, Frances R. Bell, is probably buried here also. From David Kirk Shaver, Sr."

They listed nine names that had markers and noted that there were about 50 graves in this cemetery.
