Betty, I will keep my eye out for anything in that area.
I am looking for my other side of the family also in that area. During road trips I try to stop in the areas and visit the gen societies. Most of the time I have to time to look through microfilm but try to look through paper folders of documents and correspondence of other researchers. I have access to a few of my family's original handwritten notes but none have places of birth. I am in search of Mortons in the line of JoCephus b 1870 son of John W d. 1870 and Adeline Ledbetter. John W. sone of Joseph Morton and Peggy Hatley/ Adeline dgtr of Alford sp. and Tempe Tucker. Also other side I am searching for Dowell/Frady from Black Mtn (Clay-Cherokee C.)
