I am interested in a Ephraim Hunter( b. 1777)
and his wife Sarah Elizabeth Crocker Hunter(Va. 1779) who lived in Stanly. He had two brothers at least Elijah and Elisha. The couple had at least four children Harry A. Hunter(1813-1877,Russelville,Ar.),Elijah, Anne P., Elizabeth Mary(Mrs. Robert Martin),
and Martha(married a Dunn, maybe a lawyer.)
Harry A.(he was married twice 1st Melinda McKay- f. David McKay{1775}; 2nd to Elizabeth Sofley/Safley) son C.G. Hunter(1865-1944-Jefferson Co.,Ar.) was my grandfather descent from Elizabeth. Before the end of the civil war they lived in Stanly Co. and Mecklenburg Co. at Huntersville before moving to Pope Co.,Ar. after the civil war.Any help would be appreciated I haven't had much luck on Ephraim and Sarah.
