Thanks for posting this additional information. This helps make it still plainer.

As for Mathias and Mary FURR's daughter Serena, in the 1860 census book (printed from Stanly Co. NC) she is listed as Rhury Mary Ann age 17. I think this is also a mistake and the Rhury is really Rheny a shortened version of Serena. So this gives her complete name and it is not "Martha" but "Mary".

George Thomas had told me about her being buried in Love's Chapel Cemetery. I found this cemetery on line but it has Love's Chapel and Love's Grove all lumped together in one cemetery. Since then I have found a book published by the Love's Grove Methodist Church that has a complete listing of this cemetery. It was published last year.
