Hello Bill, you might already know this, but it is more than likely that John S. Easley's wife, Susanna, died sometime before 1830 and he remarried to someone else named Susan who had children from a previous marriage which is why none of John's children were listed in her will. I was originally told
that Susanna had died after the birth of my ancestor, John Jr., but there were two other children born after him. The last was Daniel about 1824 and this could be when she died. My John migrated to Tennessee where he married and had a large family. Several other families migrated with him from NC including one of the Kendall's. Anyway, looks like we are related through John Sr. I also have Aldridge's in my family, but they ended up in Kentucky. Nita Phillips
