I have in my posession a letter written by Margaret Donalda Dodge White to her daughters, Jessie & Harriett in 1896. The letter states that the daughters were away down to grandmother's for a short visit. It is written as a good-bye, from one who knew she was dying.

Written at 33 Franklin St
Nashua, N.H.
Sunday Feb. Ninth, 1896

The letter was then forwarded to "Grandmother Dick" in 1928, from Jessie Dodge White Cook.

This letter was found among my grandmother's papers after her death in Stanly Co, NC in 1982. My grandmother was Nellie Mae Dick Smith and her mother was Christeen E. Shaver Dick b. 1858, d. 1947.

I would like to know the relationship between Jessie White Cook and Christeen Shaver Dick.
