Hello,

My name is Jason Kendall and I am from Mt. Pleasant
N.C. and currently live in Concord NC and work
in Charlotte.

My grandpa is Tommy Hugh Kendall (owns A.C. Lentz Saddlery off NC Hwy 49 N across from Cline's Country Antiques). My
Grandpa may know the answer to your question about Samuel
Kendall, but I'm not sure. I do know that he can tell you
some of the children that Samuel had, so perhaps that could help...I'll ask him and post another message.

As a matter of fact, I found this forum b/c I was doing a search on Google search engine for "Samuel Kendall"...we are trying to find out who came before Samuel, i.e. who was his father?

I have an article entitled "A SOUTHERN PLANTATION or Kendall's Store, Post Office, and Ordinary" evidently written by a "Mrs G.D.B. Reynolds" (a Historian of Yadkin
River Patriots Chapter D.A.R.)...the article is interesting
and is all about Stanley County and David Kendall's "Ordinary". I would be more than happy to make a copy and mail it to you if you mail me your address to my email address jkendall1975@ctc.net

-Thanks,
Jason Kendall
