My husband's family is Amma & Sarah C. (??) Jackson of North Clinton. Sarah ran a boarding house for many years. I cannot get a fix on Sarah's lineage...husband thought possibly Strickland, but it looks like maybe she was a Tew?? She was born in 1880 & passed in 1956. Also...Amma's mother was Julia (??)., married to Thomas L. Jackson Sr. Would love to trace Thomas' mother Jennett Baggett's maternal line - looks like Beady??
