Dear Trisha,
I am not real good with giving directions but if you can find your way to Shelby,Cleveland County,
North Carolina, then someone could give you directions to get to Earl,NC.
Then when you get to Earl,NC ,you turn on Lavender Rd. and go just maybe 1 mile and it is on a small
hill with a trailer down to the right of it.It may be grown up with weeds but,I don't know.
I found this cemetery book and it has some directions:100 yards north of road leading to Shelby-
Earl Road to Grover.1&1/2 miles east of Buffalo Creek.I think Lavender Road is the road they are refering to when to,when they say (north of road leading to)and when they speak of Buffalo Creek, too.
I know this must sound confusing but I hope it may give you a little bit more knowledge about where the cemetery is.Shelby-Earl Road to Grover is the road you turn off to get onto Lavender, and Lavender road is before you get to the main town cemetery(New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery),if you are coming into Earl from Shelby.
Sincerely Oveta Earls Moss 12/28/2001
