Josiah and Julius Strickland
Posted by: Rudolph Strickland Date: January 23, 2001 at 13:42:25

My ggggrandfather was Julius Strickland and I believe his father was Josiah Strickland. Josiah went to Rutherford County in the early 1800's. Julius a brother of Josiah went to Jackson Co. Ga in 1807. It is known that Josiah along with his 5 children(all boys) went to Rutherford as Josiah Shows up on the 1810 census. On the 1820 census Josiah and Julius both show up. This is a strong indication that Julius was a child of Josiah. Anyone having any information concerning Josiah and Julius I would greatly appreciate the help.
