I do not know the documentation for Tim Byars' material, but go to Blackwell family genforum and read his message #1397 from 6/3/2000

He says Henrietta Byars is the daughter of James [Jonas] Byars and Frances "Fanny" Collins.

I thought I had the information on Lydia Padgett, but know you can check on the Padgett Genforum and type in Lydia and check the messages for her marriage to Peter Blackwell. If the information is not printed, you can contact Karen Padgett Prewitt's e-mail as I know she replied to a Blackwell descendant's query about this marriage.

For information about Joel prior to Rutherford County, go to Blackwell genforum and check message # 116 by Garnet Murphey.

Have you looked in Bridges to the Past on Suttle and Doggett families? It may have Blackwell information. I did read this somewhere just can't remember now just where about Isaiah and Joel Blackwell's marriages to the Doggett sisters.
