Can you help? I have relatives in Franklin County, AL and Itawamba, MS and want to know if this is an early ancestor.

The Robert Tharp Rev. War info says he entered service at Saulsbury, NC, was in Burk Co., NC, frontier forts of GA, Savanna, was POW, when released settled in Rutherford Co., NC, then moved to Wilson Co., TN, then to Franklin Co., AL.
