Nancy Hyder,b. 20-Apr-1784 who m. (2) Thomas Drury Bagwell was the daughter of Benjamin and Catherine (Heslip) Hyder. Benjamin was born in Hampshire Co. (now Hardy) now West Virginia, the son of Hans Michael and Catherine (?) Hyder/Heider/Hider (whatever). Hans Michael and Catherine came to Philadelphia in 1729 on the ship "Mortonhouse". Catherine Heslip was the daughter of Andreas Heslip - also immigrant. Settled in Mountain Creek area of Rutherford. Benjamin Hyder's sister was Catherine Hyder who married Col. Andrew Hampton, Rev.
