I am looking for information on Sarah or Sally Johnson/Johnston Cochran of Rutherford Co., NC. She was my gggrandmother. Marriage records indicate she married John Cochran in 1818 and that her name was Sally Johnston. Later census records indicate her name to be Sarah. Most family trees indicate her last name to be Johnson. Trying to determine who her parents were and her lineage. Any info would be appreciated.
