I am trying to learn more about Abraham Clements who was tried for treason as listed in the Rutherford Court of Common Pleas. He was listed separately. Would there have been documentation in the Morgan district book if he had resided there? Is the Morgan District book and the Rutherford Court of Pleas one in the same?
He died by 1784. Is there resources to futher investigate these charges? Would Abraham have gone to prison, if so where?

It sounds like you have used many resources. A "State vs Rachel Clements was also listed in the same Rutherford book for 1789. How did Mrs Biggerstaff go about fighting the confiscation?
