Coward, Cochran (Cockerham) and Dawson in 1800s Rutherford Co.

Some of this information has not been verified by me but it's what I have to go on.
Thomas J. Dawson (15 October 1808-26 November 1898 in Buncombe Co., NC) married Isabella E. Cochran on 5 April 1832 in Rutherford Co., NC. (b. ca 1813-d. before 1850 census for Buncombe Co., NC)

Isabella E. Cochran was the daughter of David (Cockerham) Cochran and Sarah Coward who were married 13 January 1802 in Rutherford Co., NC

Sarah Coward was the daughter of James Coward, Sr. and Unknown Weaver, daughter of Samuel Weaver.

James, Thomas, Thomas and Minor Cochran and Ruth, Samuel and Thomas Weaver are on 1790 census and others for Rutherford online. I am wondering if Thomas and Elizabeth Cochran are parents of David Cochran? Joseph Dawson shows up on 1810 census: I am wondering if he is parent of Thomas J. Dawson? James Coward is on 1800 census.

Deeds posted online support relationships. Any help with verification or with relationships would be appreciated. Oh, Rutherford has a good USGENWEB site

Thank you, Marsha, Austin, Texas
