Sybil,

Thanks for the reply. Regarding Bill Floyd's site, see Von Hamrick's previous posting. we're able to link there now via different routing. To find out what happened, look in the "What's new" section of the WDFloyd page. Von Hamrick has also been a wonderful resource for my Hamrick questions as well as my other relations. Although I have an ever expanding data base of names, Dovie Hamrick and family were not among them. I am pleased to add them however! I have found in researching my Rutherford (and surrounding area) relations, that it seems everyone connects to everyone else in some way. Though my maiden name is Greene (spelling with or without the "e" is very arbitrary), Sarah Green is not in my line. I can connect us with the Hamricks in two different ways however through both Sarah and Chesley. I was interested to find out that Chesley was married three times. His first marriage was to Matilda O'neal Rollins. I can't place her with parents yet but my 2nd great grandmother was a Rollins and I bet there's some connection there as well. E-mail me directly and we'll talk "Family trees" in more detail.
