I have all the trials and court records of the Taylors rom the Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions listed on this post. They were indeed tried by juries of peers as Tories and lands consficated. They did repent and their lands returned, Joshua, Caleb, and my GGGG grandfather did fight in the Revolution after the trial. Arthur died on Dec 8th, 1781 SC line under the command of Col Robert Maxwell Company of Rangers from SC. I have his complete record, his wife's widow's application, 39 pages in all from the SC Archives/ Old Robert of White Oak, their father furnished beef and supplies to the army. I have all these records. Robert, Caleb, and Joshua have been accepted by the DAR as Patriots. I have also applied through Arthur.
