Noahn & Martha "Patsy" Earls

I am researching the EARLS family. My great-great grandfather was Noah Earls. He married Martha "Patsy" Hutchins in Rutherford Co., NC Jan. 28, 1839. (I have a copy of the Marriage Bond). Also signing the marriage bond was John Earls (probably his father). Noah died Feb. 24, 1891 in TN. He was born Feb. 28, 1818 in NC. Patsy Hutchins was born 1818 in NC. I don't have her parents names. However, the Hutchins were living in Rutherford Co. NC in the 1820 census, as were the Earls. The Earls or Earle were listed as far back as 1790 in the Rutherford Co. Census. I would like to be able to validate that John was Noah's father, as well, as document the line back.
Any help you could give me would be appreciated.
Thank you.
