Jacob arrived in America 25 August 1750 aboard ship "Phoenix" Via Rotherdam Holland-Cowes England Route. Settled land in Tryon County prior to 1760 census.

I have seen some reference to Joseph and Peter Mooney, associated with both Valentine and Christian Mooney. But have not seen any prove either way.
