Here's a little bit of info on Timothy Twiggs' son Jeremiah who moved to Union (Towns) County, GA.

FIRST GENERATION
1. Timothy TWIGGS was married to Joicy WILLIS on 8 April 1793 in Rutherford County, North Carolina. Joicy WILLIS was born in Virginia. Timothy TWIGGS and Joicy WILLIS had the following children:
+2 i. Jeremiah TWIGGS (born on 8 May 1813).
SECOND GENERATION
2. Jeremiah TWIGGS was born on 8 May 1813 in Rutherford County, North Carolina. He died on 4 December 1885 in Towns County, Georgia. He was buried in Old Burch Cemetery, Lake Chatuge, Hiawassee, Georgia.
He was married to Mary Ammony GURLEY (daughter of John GURLEY and Mary Jane "Pollie" TARRANT) on 10 May 1855 in Union County, Georgia. Mary Ammony GURLEY was born on 12 February 1826 in Habersham County, Georgia. She died on 12 February 1908 in Towns County, Georgia. She was buried in Old Burch Cemetery, Lake Chatuge, Hiawassee, Georgia. Jeremiah TWIGGS and Mary Ammony GURLEY had the following children:
3 i. Dr. Robert H. TWIGGS was born on 16 February 1857. He died on 31 October 1929. He was buried in Osborn Cemetery, Hiawassee, Georgia.
4 ii. James K. TWIGGS was born in 1860.
5 iii. Mary L. TWIGGS was born in 1862. She died in 1891 in Towns County, Georgia. She was buried in Old Burch Cemetery, Lake Chatuge, Hiawassee, Georgia.
+6 iv. John Virgil TWIGGS (born on 23 April 1865).
7 v. Julius G. TWIGGS was born on 16 June 1868. He died on 4 August 1951. He was buried in Osborn Cemetery, Hiawassee, Georgia.
8 vi. Georgia A. TWIGGS was born on 18 August 1872. She died on 17 January 1887. She was buried in Old Burch Cemetery, Lake Chatuge, Hiawassee, Georgia.
9 vii. Jeremiah Dennison TWIGGS was born in 1874.
