Thanks for the response to my query. Yes, Tinch/Tench is a very unusual name and it being associated with the surname Blackwell is most interesting. I have very little on Tinch Morrow and his wife Maude Jeanette Turner Morrow, my grandparents. My mom, their only living descendent, just turned 90 back in May. We have tried so long to find out more about her family.

I would appreciate any additional info that might connect her to these folks through the Blackwell or Morrow surname. I will see my mother later this afternoon and inform her of your info and see if she remembers or knows anything that could confirm the connection. My mother is first cousin to Wilbur "Wick" Turner of CLeveland COunty, NC . He is about her age and came to visit mom last month. Wilbur Turner is the son of Henry Turner of Cleveland County also.

Please stay in touch with me and thanks again.
