I am seeking information on the early Knertzer (Knortzer, Conatser) and Wortman (Workman) lines in Burke/Rutherford County.
Also, seeking any additional ties to the Canselor line.
-------------------------------------------------

Ref: Balthasar Knertzer (often seen as Baltas, Baltzer), son of Killian. (see line below)

Johann Balthasar Knortzer (Balthasar, Killian)marries Maria Barabara Rudisille in 1754.
6 v. Johann Balthasar Knortzer, born 14 Jul 1730 in Treschklingen, Bad Rappenau, Heilbronn, Baden, Germany; died Abt. 1803 in Morgantown, VA. He married Maria Barbara Rudisille 22 Sep 1754 in York, York Co., PA
-----
In the book, Early German Sttlers of York County PA by Keith A. Dull on page 152 we read where Johan Micahel Quickel married Barabara Muller on July 26, 1741. He (JMQ) purchased 418 acres from Baltzer Knertzer on Apr. 1, 1763.
On p. 153, we read where Johan Micahel Quickel's daugther, Anna Maria, b. in 1768, m. Philip, son of Philip and Barabara (Rudisill) Cansler on June 12, 1790, and d. in 1839.
