Williams/Musick, Rutherford County, 1790

A Joseph Williams, his wife and four sons were enumerated in the 1790 census of Rutherford County, NC. This family is almost certainly Joseph, Sarah Musick Williams, and their children James, Micajah "Cage", Lewis and William Sherley "Old Bill" Williams. They appear to have been in St. Louis County, MO by 1800. Apparently they moved west with a large number of Rutherford County families -- Musick, Whiteside(s), Lewis and others. I would appreciate any information about 1) the parents and siblings of Joseph Williams and 2) the migration of these femilies from NC to French Louisiana.
