FRANCIS CRAWFORD, N.C. to TN.

I am searching for anyone who might have information on Francis Crawford. He appears in the 1810 N.C., Rutherford Co., census. I cannot find him in the 1820 census, but TN census records are scarce. Then I found him in 1830 TN, Knox county census, living next door to Frederick Barger. It appears from the ages of the children in the 1840 TN, Knox County census that he is deceased. I believe he had a son named William Harrison Crawford, born 1810 in N.C., married Elizabeth Barger, daughter of Frederick and Rebecca Elinor Susong Barger, from Knox Co., TN. Any help would be helping to end a 10 yr search for his parents. Thanks in advance.
