Thomas BROWN - Rutherford, McDowell and Cherokee Counties NC

Still trying to break my brick wall - I do have a little bit more information than when I posted last.
Thomas BROWN, Methodist minister, was born [according to the family Bible] Feb 1800. Thanks to a census taker in Cherokee County who took more informatin in 1860 than he was required to, I know he was born in Rutherford County NC. Again thanks to the same census taker, I know his first two children were born in McDowell County NC.

Thomas married his second wife, Margaret [aka Nellie] HYATT in 1846.

The family Bible lists a Louise or Louisa BROWN who was born, I believe. in 1820 or 1823. I am assuming that would be a child of a first marriage which would have taken place in Rutherford or McDowell Counties. The 1850 census shows a Reuben BROWN born 1830 in the household as well. I believe he was also a child of that first marriage.

Children of the second marriage were:
Jesse Richardson BROWN born 1847 McDowell County
Thomas Hezekiah BROWN born 1849 McDowell County
Naoma Jane BROWN born 1855 Cherokee County
Washington Bergan BROWN born 1857 Cherokee County
Margaret Elizabeth BROWN born 1861 Cherokee County
Nancy Calann [aka Callie] BROWN born 1864 Cherokee County
