THOMPSON of the City and County of Albany, and State of New York, and GEORGE VAN NEST AND WILLIAM REDMOND CROSS of the City, County and State of New York, parties of the first part and John Hill of Rutherford County, State of North Carolina
......All those 24 acres of land, part of Patent No. 1039, on the waters of Mountain Creek, bounded as follows: Beginning on the stone, H. Melton’s corner on the South side of the Cove Road, and runs South 58 West 34 poles to a White Oak on his line; then South 4 West 33 poles to a stake on H. White’s line; then with it East 572/5 poles to a Pine, his corner; then with M. (N?) L. Blands’ line North 50 East 42 poles to a broken down Pine, his corner, on the West side of the Cove Road; then with it North 37 Est 13 poles to a stake in the road; then North 37 East 8 poles to a stake; then North 661/4 West 58 poles to a red Oak; then South 4 West 11 poles to the beginning.
