Based on the information I have Dorcas Moberly was born about 1720. She was one of my gggreat-grandmothers.She married William Hill before 1750. The Mobberly (Mobley) family came to NC from All Hallows, South River Parish, Ann Arundel County, Marland and before that Cheshire England. Dorcas was the daughter of Edward Patrick Moberly and Susannah Duvall DuRuel. There are websites on Ancestry.com that date the Mobberly back to 1533! Very interesting family. Revolutionary War records, Old plantation homes and even royal titles.
