I 'am researching my family history and I have several Davis women whom I am looking for. Do you have any deeds that came from Tryon County North Carolina with Francis Welchell as a witness to any Davis men? Also do you have any deeds from Albemarle County Virginia that was sold to Patrick Davis? Or any from Pendleton County South Carolina sold to John Davis both were sold by Francis Welchell/Whelchel. The Davis women that I'am looking for are Abigail, Martha, Judith, I'am trying to find there mother and father. They are beleived to be John + Jemimia Davis. I don't know if this is a fact or not. I do know that they married brothers from South Carolina or North Carolina around the time of the Rev.War all the men were at the Battle of Kings Mountain. Any help?
