i have daniel and anne britton in my family. daniel supposedly was born 1746 in va and died 1805 in greene co., tn. his son, william, married one of my relatives, mary hannah, 12-10-1791 in greene co, tn. their children were william, benjamin, james, nelly, thomas, june, wallis and nancy. mary hannah was b 1770, most likely in mecklenburg, nc. i don't know about your brittons, but my hannahs married into quakers and first settled in lancaster co., pa. my hannahs left greene co for indiana by 1821. you're fortunate if your brittons were quakers as they kept pretty good records. good luck in your search. rodney
