Tuesday, June 6, 1905, THE MONROE JOURNAL (Union County, N.C.) -Mrs. W. J. KING of Waxhaw died last Tuesday. She had been very sick for some time, and an operation becoming imperative, it was performed by Drs. PRYOR of Chester and McCAIN, HOUSTON and BURGESS of Waxhaw. In her weakened condition she was unable to rally. The remains were buried at old Waxhaw church, and Rev. L. E. STACEY conducted the service. The Enterprise says: “Before her marriage to Mr. KING about eleven months ago, Mrs. KING was Miss Antoinette PRICE of Reidsville. She came of a most excellent family and was herself a highly cultured and accomplished lady. She was a devoted member of the Baptist denomination and manifested a lively interest in the work of her church. At her next birthday, some time in the coming September, she would have been 22 years of age.” *********************** Round Top Baptist Church Cemetery (aka Waxhaw Baptist Church) Located at 8213 Old Waxhaw-Monroe Road Waxhaw, Union County, North Carolina King, Antoinette P.
