Looking for any information on my ggg/gfather John Ward, born ca 1792 in North Carolina and wife Mary Helen Rhodes b. ca 1800. Believe in Robeson Co. Possibly William Ward and Elizabeth Sterling as his parents. John and family migrated to Texas in 1845 to Milam Co. Am trying to verify if William & Elizabeth were his parents. William & Elizabeth had 9 children -Elizabeth, Jane, John, Susanna,Sarah, Alice, Obedience, Enoch, Mary.
