Somewhere I once saw that Charity, wife of Jacob Falconbury, died in 1781. That might explain the over ten year gap between Jacob's first two children and the rest of his kids. So the question then would be, who was his second wife, also given as Charity? Did they elope from Anson County to Kershaw County? Is Charity an assumed alias to prevent detection? Such things happened back then. Investigation of mtDNA relationships consistently fail to show any connection to mtDNA relatives in the area.
