Death Index Look-up
Posted by: Michael McDonald (ID *****2413) Date: February 07, 2010 at 14:07:20

Is there anyone who can do a death index look up? I am trying to find information on a Louisa Covington, daughter of John Dockery Covington and Susan McEachern of early Richmond County,NC. She would have married three times supposedly. First to a William Tart, second to an Unknown McDonald (McDaniel),third to and unknown Smith. I have located her with the first marriage in South Carolina. Unsure if this William Tart died from the war and she then remarried to the Unknown McDonald. I have found a Lou Mc Daniel in the census with a Linneberry McDaniel ? She is listed there with my Grandfather Newton Jasper McDonald and a daughter Lillie. This McDaniel (McDonald) would have died also after the birth of my Grandfather(unknown what year) and she later married Unknown Smith. What I am really in search of, is any information that would tell the first names of the men she was married to the second and third times. With all the census records I can only locate this Linneberry McDaniel this one time and no where else.Louisa Covington was born 1838 and died @ 1902 in today Scotland County,NC. I would be thankful for any help I can get with this.

With sincere thanks in advance,
Michael McDonald
