William, About the only information I have is this:

1789 October. Ordered that William McPherson [be] appointed overseer of the road from Sculls Bridge to Laurel Hill and the following men to work on said road: Gilbert McMillan, Malcom McMillan, John Morrison, Norman Morrison Jr., Malcom Morrison, Neill McNair (Hatter), John McPherson Jr., Daniel Campbell Sr., Daniel Campbell, John Currie, John McQuaig, Angus Campbell (my ancestor), Alexander McNair, Peter McQuaig, Richard McQuaig and Alexander McMillan. Richmond County Superior Court Minutes. 1779-1792
