I have reason to believe that our Lamb ancestors were in Richmond County at least in 1828-9. I saw a reference to a William, Reddick, and Morrum's being purchasers at an estate sale for Nicholas Smith. I wonder if Morrum could be a misspelling for Mariam, the known mother of Jacob, Reddick, Permelia and John Henry Lamb. There was a widowed? Miriam in Marlboro, SC on the 1830 census. I am aware that several families moved from Richmond County into Marlboro and later into Fayette Co., GA. By the 1850's all four siblings were in Alabama.

There is a group of researchers who have looked for our ancestor for decades and would be very happy with any clues you can provide.
