Coleman Family of 1751 Anson/Richmond
Posted by: Fred W. Field Date: February 15, 2001 at 05:59:18
  of 554

My line descends from William Coleman who died in early Anson Co. (1751 will). This Coleman family settled and lived in that part of Anson which became Richmond Co. My branch removed to AL in early 1800s, settling in Butler, Montgomery and Lowndes Cos. I have much information to share. Need clues to Coleman family location prior to 1751. Related surnames: Wade, Terry, Leake, Love, Raiford, Smith.
