I am seeking information on my GGGG grandparents: Michael Hawkins Jr. and his second wife Elizabeth Braden.Michael was first married to Joanna Musick. He married my gggg grandmother Elizabeth Nov 1,1806 Rutherford Co NC. They had the following children: James F. b 1807, Terrill b. 1810, John Henry b. 1813, Laura Lavinia my line who married Michael Henderson in Rutherford Co NC.I would love to know more about my Hawkins family. They just seems to disappear after the 1840 census. I have a good bit of info on my Henderson line.If you are a descendant of this Hawkins or Braden line and have family info, I would be very grateful for your sharing.
