You need to do a search of the deed records, if they still exist, to find out where Thomas got his land. The problem is, back then when they split and sold parcels, they weren't too descriptive, so you can wind up with an approximate idea but sometimes you can't determine exactly what land is what. You also need to trace the deed forward, and see how and to whom the land was sold to. Notify Administrator about this message?
