North Spring,Aug. 13- THOMAS CLEVELAND BYERS, 69, died unexpectedly at the home of nephew, ROY BYERS.
A native of Polk Co., he was the son of the late JOHN and AMANDA CANTRELL BYERS.
Funeral services will be held at BYERS CHURCH at Pea Ridge. The Rev. MR. MARTIN of Chesnee and L.A. ERWIN will officiate. Burial will be in the BYERS family cemetery.
Surviving are; his wife, MRS. ELIZABETH TESENEAR BYERS; one daughter, MRS. ILA BYERS, Tryon; 5 sons, WOODROW, and STEWART, Greenville, WILLIAM J. ,Inman, ROBERT and JOHN BYERS, Spartanburg; one sister, MRS. MOLLIE BYERS, Spartanburg; 38 grandchildren and 3 g- grandchildren.
The body is in the home of his daughter.
Pallbearers; TOM, ROY, ROBERT and TOMMY BYERS, ARCHIE ALLEN and MARK DAVIS.
McFARLAND Funeral home is in charge.
