Saluda, May 23,1955- MRS. ELLEN PRICE THOMPSON, 83, died at her home near Friendship Bapt. church , after a long illness.
She was a native of Polk Co. and a d/o the late SAMUEL and MARTHA COCHRAN PRICE. She was a member of Silver Creek Bapt. church.
Surviving are her husband, DAVE THOMPSON, Saluda; one daughter, MRS. VANCE THOMPSON, Salude; one brother, JOHN V. PRICE, Saluda; 2 sisters, MRS. CATHERINE PETTIT of Greensboro,NC and MRS. SUSAN BRADLEY, Saluda; and 4 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Friendship Baptist church by the Revs. PAUL STEPP and ED CORN.
Pallberaers; WILL, TOLBERT, DUPREE, ALLSTON and HUBERT BRADLEY and HOMER THOMPSON.
McFarland Funeral Home in charge.
