Spartanburg Herald, dated 1949.
Tryon, June 28- MRS. LUCY LEONA BLACKWELL of Lynn died unexpectedly at the home of her brother, S.S. BLACKWELL in Thomasville.
She had been visiting her brother for about 6 weeks.
She was born in Henderson County but had been a resident of Polk County practically all her life.
Surviving are; one sister, MRS. G.E. WALKER of Hendersonville; 2 brothers, S.S. BLACKWELL and GEORGE BLACKWELL of Landrum; one son, WAITE BLACKWELL of Atlanta.
Funeral services will be announced by McFarland Funeral home.
