Help with Smith/Dalton

Family is searching for information on Dr. Decatur M. Smith

We know that Margaret Elizabeth Dalton was born on June 20, 1857 and died October 24, 1920 and married according to records found in Rutherford, N.C. she married Dr. D.Miller Smith on March 13, 1873 and her parents are Bradley Dalton and H. Thompson. We know that she has been married twice.

What we need is some confirming information on Dr. Smith and and who his parents and children are besides my grandfather James Boyd Smith. We will be glad to share any information we have that may be of help to others.
