On 1850 Census the Keel family Nathaniel 60 wife53 son 23 daughters 21 & 19. In Perkins, Pitt Co. N.C. by George Britton. Osmond Cherry was Justice of the peace in Pitt co. George Brittain was given Land in Pitt Co. in 1803 in his fathers will. John Brittain was given land there by his father about 1791 Johns wife was Mary Sessoms/Sessums. In Miles Brittains will he said Osmond Cherry was a good friend. A John and William Cherry were in Bertie Co. before 1790. What do you know about these familys? any marrages between them ?
