Dear Bill,

I have located the following documents:
Land survey of Elias Taft, Farniville? Diswell, Walter Dixon, John Mills. All of Pitt County, NC. Well written survey map breaks down all property owners and land descriptions. All this land was formerly owned by Edward Salter. This survey is dated February 17, 1739. The survey was requested due to a land dispute between Elias Taft and Farniville Diswell. This survey describes the former lands down to the last pine pole. Please, review Special Manuscript Collection # 253.1 Boyd Family Papers, Joyner Library, East Carolina University, Greenville, NC. For further references.

As of this month, this land is located off of Grimesland Bridge Road. Turn right onto Mills End Road. (this is the last right just before the bridge) drive back onto open field and walk up toward cemetery to the right in the middle of trees.
